It's a pleasure to become a member of HubPages!  I'm the mother of six, five birth children and one adopted child. Much of my life has been spent as a single mother, and I have much understanding and empathy for the daily struggles of parenting alone.  I also have a great love for animals, and abhor those who abuse and neglect them.  I've always loved to write, and during the years have had a few articles published in online and print formats.
